6 Ways to Spring Clean Your Wellness Routine

The weather is getting warmer and it’s time to get ready! We hear about Spring Cleaning our houses all the time, but have you ever thought of giving your wellness routine a spritz in the spring as well?  

Sit back, because I’m going to show you how!

Replace your Essential Oils

While I’m not a huge advocate for any particular essential oil company.  I have my favorites and I do use some oils at home.  Some oils have a long shelf life, and others just have a life of 1 or 2 years. So, take the time to give the bottles a little sniff.  If they smell off, or aren’t as potent as you’d like, it’s time to replace them.  

Clean Your Yoga Mat

You haven’t cleaned that bad boy since Fall?  It’s time to spiffy it up so you can do your down dogs with ease!

Replace your Spices

Go through your pantry and take a look at your spice rack.  Are your favorites almost gone?  Does the tumeric look a little off?  Has the powdered ginger caked together?  It’s time to stock up on your favorites and replace the ones that have gone bad!

Give your Bike a Tune-up

Now that the weather will be getting warmer and we’ll be getting back on the trails, it’s time to make sure your bicycle is safe to use.  Take it in and make sure that your gears and brakes work properly.

Get New Shoes

If you’re like me, you hold on to your shoes longer than you should. While some shoes can be repaired, your athletic shoes can’t.  When they are worn, it’s time to replace them.  Especially when you’ll be hitting the gym and running around outside more often.  

Book a Massage

Since Spring means filing your taxes, decluttering your house, and often times becoming weekend warriors, it’s probably time to book a massage as well. It’s a great way to relieve the tax stress AND the pain that sometimes comes from exercise.
