Declutter your Self Care Regimen

I’ve talked a lot about how to clean up different aspects of your self-care routine, in the past. But this is going to be a little different. I’m going to tell you ONE thing to GET RID OF NOW! Or, if you’re thinking of adding this tool to your list of items, I’m going to beg you not to!

Here ya go, folks! The Fasciablaster needs to go.

Now, I know of a few massage therapists who use this as a massage tool.

I know of one who has cut hers in half to use during a chair massage. When used gently, I can see that it could be a decent tool for a massage therapist to use on a fully clothed client at a chair massage event.

But, that’s not what most people use it for. They use it because it claims to reduce the appearance of cellulite when you use it every day. And, folks! I’ve seen photos of women who are so aggressive with it that they leave really bad bruises on their legs, hips, and backside.

I’ve said it time and time again, “No pain, no gain” doesn’t apply to massage. And, most people aren’t as kind to their bodies as they should be. I’ve even read reports of people using it on their face too deeply and it caused temporary paralysis!

When you have to be that aggressive with yourself, then is it really caring for yourself?

Instead of using a Fasciablaster, talk to a qualified professional to help you achieve the results you need in a gentle and safe way! If you need help finding one, shoot me a message and I can point you in the direction of some great professionals in Fort Worth!
